The U-14 Laredo Pony League team has been dominating the south zone tournament this weekend, going 3-0 Saturday.
Laredo was also able to give Gregory Portland a 12-1 loss this, earning their way into the championship game where they met their toughest match, Brownsville.
Brownsville took a 1-0 lead after four innings and handed Laredo the loss, 3-0.
The team said they will still advance to the super tournament, which is held in Dallas in a few weeks.
