Fresh off their seven point victory Saturday, the Rattlesnakes are getting some attention from the league with not one, but two player of the week awards. Quarterback Bryan Randle was recognized for his efficent game, going 30/36 through the air for 344 yards and seven td's. The big QB also scampered in for one rushing score to give him eight touchdowns on the night.
On defense it was LeRoy Trahan, who bounced back from a shaky game the previous week to earn Defensive Player of the Week status. The cornerback had a nose for the ball all game long, coming up with 9 1/2 tackles, including one for a loss of 11 yards. He also broke up three would be Bandit completions.
The Rattlesnakes will be back at home this Sunday for a special Mothers Day game against league leading Amarillo with a kickoff scheduled for 3 pm.
