It was supposed to be a busy night along Sinatra Pkwy with both the Rattlesnakes and Lemurs in action tonight, but one game never got to kick off. This was the scene at the Laredo Energy Arena tonight at 7 pm, when the Corpus Christi Hammerheads were scheduled to be playing Laredo. A lone representitive with the Rattlesnakes was out informing would-be spectators that their tickets would be good when these two teams make up this game later in the summer. The offical statement from the teams was that this was a transportation mishap, which would have forced a late arrival by the Hammerheads. All three south Texas tearms are owned by the same group, with Chad Dittman acting as the President of all three franchises. He spoke to our sister station in Corpus about the state of his teams.
