With only one game remaining in their regular season, the Rattlesnakes are still tweaking with their roster looking for the perfect combination. One major addition is former Houston Stallion Quarterback Robert Kent who had been at the top of the Lone Star Football League stats before the franchise folded. Bringing in a QB of Kent's ability could throw a wrench in the chemistry of the team, one that has been led all season by Matt Jeffers. In speaking to both men today, they said the experience Kent brings can do nothing but help the team win a championship.
The other two players brought in are Damien Clark, a wide receiver that also played with the Stallions this season and Carlos Campbell, a defensive back that has experience with head coach Rod Miller. Laredo has only one regular season game left taking place tonight against Corpus Christi at the LEA.
