Rattlesnakes Sign New Kicker

By KGNS News

The Rattlesnakes are finally back and will play their first home game in over a month on Sunday. The 'Snakes will meet with the Abilene Ruff Riders for the only time this season. Despite on a five game losing streak, the Rattlesnakes team is looking up with the arrival of a new kicker, Blake Erickson. Erickson was a place-kicker who set new school records at South Carolina State, hitting 14 of 17 field goals and led the team with 87 points his junior year. With the addition to their team, the 'Snakes defense says they are prepared for the Ruff Riders offense.

"They got some new formations that we're looking into but we're ready for it as a defense and we're going to attack them big time as an offense. Looking to score a lot of points this game...and bring a win for the home crowd."

"I've been talking to all my DB's and my teammates...on defense we're not giving up no ground."

The Rattlesnakes hope to turn over that chapter on Sunday, game time is 4:05 at the LEA.
