After their most recent win over the Rio Grande Valley Magic, the Rattlesnakes will be hosting a playoff game in the inaugural season of the Lone Star Football League. Laredo started the season 2-0 but promptly went on a five game losing streak, leaving them on the outside looking in at the playoff picture. Lately the team has rallied though with wins over Abilene and two against the Magic to go along with a forfeit from Corpus Christi. All this combined with undefeated Houston dropping out of the league has left Laredo now guaranteed to finish in the top two and will host a playoff game Saturday July 14th. The Rattlesnakes still have a chance to secure the #1 overall seed with a win over Corpus Christi this Friday in their final regular season game of the season.
