The Laredo Rattlesnakes have locked up a post-season home game with win over Rio Grande Valley Magic Saturday night.
Receiver Josh Crawford led all scorers with 3 touchdowns.
Quarterback Matt Jeffers threw five touchdowns and 215 yards in the win.
The defense also picked up three interceptions.
The win puts the Rattlesnakes in the top two of the Lone Star Football League, which earns them a post-season home game.
The date for that game has not been announced, but Head Coach Rod Miller said the team is hungry for a championship.
"We're taking every game, we're preparing for a championship. So each game we play from here on out, we say we're going to play like it's the championship game. If we want to get there and learn how to play as champion, we’re going to practice each week. So this week we're going to go out practice just the same and try to win a championship...each week is a championship to us."
We will keep you posted when the play-off game date is announced, but the Rattlesnakes last regular season home game is this Friday, July 6.
Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The Rattlesnakes could claim the top-seed in the Lone Star Football League with the win.
