The TAMIU baseball team found out today they will begin the 2013 season ranked nationally. The Dustdevils will start the year in the #34 spot based off their statistical performance from last season. In all, five Heartland Conference teams cracked the top 50 spots in the Boyd World Rankings. During the 2012 season TAMIU played a total of 30 games against top 25 ranked teams, going 9-21 in those games, but six of those loses were by one run.
