Laredo officially has a new professional sports team, well at least half a pro sports franchise, as the Nuevo Laredo Toro's will be playing half their home games here this fall. Officials with both Laredo and Nuevo Lareod signed an agreement this morning guaranteeing at least 11 home games for the Gateway City. Games will be played at the LEA and is predicated on the city purchasing a basketball court, something they say should be accomplished in the next few weeks.
Overall the mayors from both cities are excited about what this means for the two Laredos.
