Today it was two students at LBJ high school that got to see their dream of playing sports at the college level realized. Nicolas Madrigal and Rudy Ramirez obth signed National Letters of Intent to play at the next level. Madrigal will be going to Post University in Connecticut to play football for the NCAA D-2 Eagles, while Ramirez is headed to Wiley College to play soccer at the NAIA level.
Both students had many people to thank for getting them to this day.
"Not a lot of people, from this school especially, have the opportunity to play at the college level and I need to thank my coach, my teammates, my ex-teammates and my parents, my family for being a big support through this process."
"I want to thank my coach, my coaches and my dad for pushing me this far."
Both these studens earned academic scholorships to play next season. Congrats to both of them on this achievement.
