United Goes 2-0 in Day 1 of Border Olympics

Taking on South San Thursday night, United starter Joel Garza shut down the Bobcats for six innings, striking out eight. The Longhorns took a 1-0 lead into the fifith when they added three insurance runs. The Bobcats got on the board in the 6th thanks to a solo homer, but David Garza slammed the door shut after that.
