It's a new year, new coach and really a new team at TAMIU as the men's basketball program looks to win their third straight Hearland Conference title. Only four players are back from the team that won the first two men's basketball titles in the schools history. Those gone include conference player of the year Evan Matteson and head coach Shane Rinner. With a brand new team comes new opportunities but players know the pressure of the previous teams success is still on them this season.
The Dustdevils will get their season underway this Saturday at 7 pm, against Eastern New Mexico University.
