Five Dustdevils Earn All-Conf. Honors

In 2006 TAMIU's women's soccer team began competing at the NCAA Division II level and had never seen a player earn individual postseason honors, that changed in a big way this week. The Heartland Conference announced their All-Conference team and both Karina Garcia and Valeriea Jamarillo took home 1st team honors. Making the 2nd team was Jessica Parker and Laura Twinem, while Briana Garcia was also named to the Heartland Conference All-Tournament team. The Dustdevils shattered program records this season by being ranked for most of the year and finished with an 11-7-1 overall record.
