LCC to hold Skeet Shooting Event

With money being tight during these times, especially for many colleges across the country, the LCC athletic department is looking to raise funds while interacting with the community. The Palominos announced today their first-ever skeet shooting competition to be held December 15th from 8 am to 3 pm, at the South Texas Shooting Complex. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers and is open to anyone 12 and older.
While it's a fundraising effort, the LCC athletic department also wanted a way to reach out to members of the Laredo community.
Registration for the event is $100 with a majority of the funds raised going to scholorships for student athletes. For more information or to register you can call 721-5326.
