Matteson Coming Back to South Texas

Former Dustdevil basketball standout Evan Matteson is back in South Texas to continue his professional career. The 6'10" center was selected by the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, who is the NBA's Houston Rockets D-League team. The 2012 Heartland Conference Player of the Year led TAMIU in points, rebounds, blocks and FG% as the Dustdevils won their 2nd of back-to-back conference championships. Matteson and the Vipers will start their season on November 23rd, against the Bakersfield Jam.
