It was a joyous day at United South High School for one of the Panthers tennis players. Jessica Garza signed her letter of intent to play her sport at Laredo Community College beginning this fall. Garza was the #1 player for the South squad this season and was voted captain of the team for her senior season.
Flanked by her parents, Garza signed on the dotted line to play for head coach Jaime Donjuan and the rest of the Palominos. Garza is not only a star on the court but also has a 3.38 GPA and hopes to become a physicians assistant when she is done with school.
