One of the TAMIU mens soccer players has been named Heartland Conference Defensive Player of the Week. Joan Vallejo earns the top honor for defenders after the Dustdevils came away 1-0-1 against Dallas Baptist and St. Edwards last week. The junior from Barcelona, Spain scored not one but two goals in those games, giving him three on the season. TAMIU will take on St. Mary's tomorrow night in their final game of the season, the ball will get rolling at 7:30 pm.
