TAMIU Women Regionally Ranked

The TAMIU women's soccer team is breaking programs left and right this season and today they were honored for their positive results. The Dustdevils had a big weekend beating Newman University 4-0 in Heartland Conference play, then followed that up with a 3-1 win over Oklahoma Christian on Saturday.
This is the second time this season that TAMIU has been ranked, as they reached #9 in the south central rankings earlier in the season, but dropped without losing a game in the process.
Forward Karina Garcia says it's nice to see their hard work paying off.
The women have two out of town games this week. Thursday they will be in Odessa, taking on Texas Permian Basin and Saturday TAMIU will take on McMurray University.
