The legacy of following in a fathers footsteps can be one of the biggest treasures for any young man. Thursday Devon Torres took that step as he signed a Letter of Intent to play for head coach Erik Gonzalez and the Palomino baseball team. Torres was a standout pitcher for an Eagle Pass team that made it to the regional finals, compiling a 10-2 record on the year. Now he is moving his talents down Hwy. 83 and both Torres men are excited for the opportunities Devon is facing.
Torres says he plans to study criminal justice at LCC, with the hopes of going into law enforcement in the future.
