The Alexander volleyball team is gearing up for what will be their stiffest test of the season tomorrow night in the UIL playoffs. The Bulldogs have made the Sweet 16 for the 2nd year in a row, but will face arguably the best team they've seen all season in New Braunfels. The Unicorns are 43-3 on the season and are ranked #9 in the latest coaches poll. Alexander has done a little better, as they are now up to #5 in all of Texas 5A in the same poll. The Bulldogs say they know it won't be easy tomorrow, but they are confident in their chances.
The ball will go in the air tomorrow at 8 pm, at UT-PanAm in Edinburg.
