The day after a scuffle broke out between Alexander and Eagle Pass, we still do not know what the fallout will be from this incident. In speaking to UISD Athletic Director Bobby Cruz, he said neither he nor Alexanders principal were in Eagle Pass to witness the situation, where coaches had to be separated and both benches cleared. The umpires will write a report that goes to UIL and will be handled from there. Cruz stressed that right now they are in a fact finding stage but because there were no ejections of players or coaches, he does not expect the penalties to be severe but that could change. The game was halted in the top of the 7th inning with the two teams tied at 5 apiece.
