Saturday was another tough one for the LBJ Wolves who not only lost to Eagle Pass but also saw sophomore Tony Luna's season come to an end. Luna was playing at running back for the Wolves when he tore the ACL in his left knee on their first drive of the game. The sophomore had started the year at linebacker and was starring on that side of the ball for LBJ, racking up an average of ten and a half tackles per game with a total three tackles for a loss. Much of the Wolves offense punch was lost when quarterback Erick Garay tore his ACL as well, so the Wolves had moved Luna to running back. LBJ will now lean heavily on quarterback Arturo Casso and a rotation of players at running back.
