In high school girls basketball scores reported tonight, two Laredo teams at the Mid-Valley Classic had good days. Nixon comes away 2-0 after beating Econmedes and Weslaco East, the 2nd game a two overtime thriller. Things not nearly as close for Alexander, as the Bulldogs win game one over Brownsville Lopez 70-6. They followed that up with a relatively close one beating Brownsville Veterans Memorial 77-23. Debany Davila was the leading scorer for the Bulldogs in both those games.
