With the high school football season over, awards are being handed out and Martin's Rudy Castillo is up for one of the bigger honors in the state of Texas. During Martin's week eight game against Corpus Christi Moody, the senior runningback rumbled his way for 472 yards and five touchdowns. He was named the top player of the week by the internet site texasfootball.com. Castillo is now up for the player of the year award on the same site.
