The Nixon Mustangs took on Alexander in a final tune-up before district play, looking to keep up their hot play. Rolando Bustamante would pour in 20, while Ricky Arana added 19 as the Nixon handed Alexander their 3rd straight loss 67-58. Nixon is now off until next Tuesday, while AHS will take on SA Christian Friday.
