Playoff Schedule Set for UISD; LISD Still Waiting

In high school volleyball, the schedule has been set for the UISD schools, while the LISD schools are still up in the air. Alexander has climbed to #9 in the 5A polls and will travel to Alice this upcoming Monday for a bi-district showdown with Edinburg High School. United will play their first round game Tuesday night in Roma, as they take on Edinburg North in the bi-district round.
For the LISD schools, we know that Nixon will be the #3 seed, but their opponent and location are still to be determined, as is the #4 seed out of district 31-4A. Cigarroa ended the season in a tie with Alice High School and the two schools will compete in a one-game, winner moves on situation this Friday at 7 pm, at Alice High.
