Nixon got on the board first with a run in the top of the 3rd but that would be all the offense the Mustangs could muster as Martin's Chris Gaytan settled in. Martin would get their bats going, plating three runs over the final four innings, giving them a 3-1 win over their rivals in district 31-4A play.
