Toro's Win in Inaugural Game at Zachary Field

In the first district games played at the brand new Zachary Field Complex, the Cigarroa girls doubled up Nixon, winning 6-3. Priscilla Villanueva would get the Toro's on the board first with a single in the 3rd inning. She would later score on a base hit by Vera Medina, as Cigarroa jumped on top 3-0. The Toros are now 1-0 in district play while Nixon is 0-1.
