The Letter of Intent signings for Laredo athletes continue to pour in as the school year comes to an end. Wednesday saw a 2nd dual signing in as many days, this time coming at United High School. Hugo Sanchez was the first of the two young men to put his name on the dotted line, committing to run cross country for TAMIU.
Soon after he signed, Danny Mitchell did the same, choosing to play football for Jamestown College in North Dakota. Both Longhorns said they were estatic to be continuing their playing careers.
Sanchez is planning to major in biology at TAMIU and hopes to become an Occupational Therapist. Mitchell says he will major in criminal justice with a career in law enforcement when he's done.
