"I'm excited to go play the sport I love, and right now I'm sad for the passing of one of the greatest counselors in Laredo. She pushed me a lot to be the best that I can be and told me I can do anything I set my mind to." (Ricky Villarreal)
Villarreal will be getting a full ride scholorship to Friends University which plays at the NAIA level.
