In this holiday season, United head baseball coach JJ Gomez, along with his Longhorns and the Winning Edge baseball kids, gave back to kids in need tonight. Over 50 gifts were handed out to boys and girls of the Sacred Heart orphanage this evening. One-by-one each child was called up and given a gift, with many of them ending in hugs and wishes of "Merry Christmas." For the players involved this is a great way to give back to Lareod, who gives so much to them. Once the gifts were handed out, the kids ripped into them, receiving dolls, books, basketballs and all kinds of toys.
