Local Laredo boxers look to take to the ring June 12th

Boxing has always been ledendary here in Laredo with lots of local talent coming out of the shadows looking to become champions
Coming up on june 12th, four Laredo fighters will look to do just that at the Laredo Civic Center.
The main event will pit Conchito "El Gallo Negro" Martinez against Joel Ortegas of Nuevo Laredo.
Three other fighters who will also be in the ring are Sergio Reyes Jr., Steve Verdin, and "El Huracan" Gabriel Holguin
Holguin who sports a record of twenty four wins says the excitement of fighting on your home turf is what its all about.
“ In our backyard, here in our hometown, we are going to give a good show for the people that come and support us. It's been a while since we've had local boxing in Laredo”
