The Laredo Lemurs may be done for the year, but one of their players looks to continue his season into the fall. Chaz Roe had his contract purchased by the Arizona Diamondbacks today. The right-handed reliever had a 3-2 record in Laredo with an ERA of 1.47. The 25-year-old worked 55 innings and struck out 69 batters while allowing only a .229 average. This is the 16th player for the American Association this season to have their contract bought by a major league team.
