While the Rattlesnakes are making plans for the postseason, one of Laredo's other professional teams is going in the opposite direction. The Lemurs dropped two of three to the Amarillo Sox, losing their third series in a row and they have now dropped seven of their last ten games overall. The recent down turn has seen their big lead in the south division evaporate and with Amarillo and Grand Prairie playing better, the Lemurs have fallen into 3rd place. They now trail the Sox by four games as we near the half way point of the season. Laredo has a chance to turn things around this week as they hit the road for a four game series in El Paso, who is currently the worst team in the American Association. They will then return home for a four game series with the Newark Bears beginning on Saturday.
