Laredo entered the night a perfect 4-0 in the friendly confines of the LEA but would see that streak come to an end. A failed two point conversion from Bryan Randall to Darnell Williams would be the difference in the 44-42 loss at the hands of Abilene. The Rattlesnakes led for the entire first half, getting multiple quick strikes. Things would turn in the 3rd quarter where the Bombers needed only 43 seconds to score their first touchdown, then added another after blocking a Laredo FG attempt. The loss drops the Rattlesnakes to 6-4 on the season, only one game ahead of the Bombers.
