The Laredo Rattlesnakes took a heartbreaking loss Saturday night, dropping their play-off game against the Magic, 50-47.
Starting QB Robert Kent Jr. completed 11-of-19 pass attempts with one interception.
The Rattlesnakes had trouble converting on third downs, only converting one of six attempts.
Head coach Rod Miller said despite the loss, he is proud of the team who made it to the play-offs.
"Things you go through it's life. You have to learn to adjust to things, you have to learn how to make it through certain situations. I'm proud of the guys for making through this point and for getting here. A lot of the people didn't think we would be here, didn't expect us to be here but we fought through, we got here and we just have to go for next year and get one game farther."
The loss ends the ‘Snakes season, as they completed their inaugural season, 8-5.
