The Laredo Rattlesnakes newest quarterback is in town, as Bryan Randall is ready for training camp in just under two weeks. The QB played for Virgina Tech in the early 2000's, winning ACC Player of the Year in 2004 before spending a few years bouncing around the NFL. More recently Randall won the Indoor Football Leagues Most Valuable Player award in 2010 for the Richmond Revolution.
Randall says he's excited to be here to become a part of the community but also to bring a Lone Star Football League title to Laredo. "I expect this team to do only the best. We are looking to win a championship. There is nothing else that would be satisfying to me or to our coaching staff. And coming in when you know that, you are all shooting towards one goal but as a competitor you've got to want the best."
The Rattlesnakes will open training camp one week from Saturday with their first game coming on March 16th against the *CORRECTION* Abilene Bombers.
