It's a big weekend for the Heat and soccer fans here in the Gateway City as beginning tomorrow, three of Mexico's top under-20 teams will be competing in friendlies. Things kickoff Thursday as Club Rayado's de Monterrey will take on Chivas de Guadalajara. Folling that on Friday, the host team Heat will be in action as they square off with the Tigres de UANL. Finally on Saturday night, those Tigres will take on Chivas in a rematch of the under-20 championship game from last year. The Heat saw it as a way to showcase some of the best young soccer talent Mexico has to offer.
All three games are scheduled to kickoff at 8 pm at the TAMIU Soccer Complex beginning tomorrow and running through Saturday.
