Toro's Bounce Back with Pair of Wins

After dropping two games in a row on the road, the Toro's de Los Dos Laredos were looking to get back on track this weekend just south of the border. The Toro's hosted Zacatecas for two at home and came away with the W in both games, winning by an average of over 20 points a game. Friday night was a 100-84 final with Ike Ofoegbu having one of his better games this season, scoring 29 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Wilfredo Pagan put in a double-double as well, with 16 points and 12 boards.

Last night would see the Toro's win in even more convincing fashion, beaing the Barreteros 92-67. Five Toro's scored in double figues with 10 players seeing time off the bench. Los Dos Laredo's now have a record of 21-7 and will head out on the road for their next two games before returning to the Laredo Energy Arena for their final game north of the border on December 14th.
