Tomorrow night will mark a rematch of the last two Mexican League champions as the Toro's host Veracruz at the LEA. Laredo has sprinted out to a 4-1 start to the season, picking up three of their wins at home. Veracruz has done them one better, going 5-0 to start the 2012 season.
This years Toro's team says they are ready for the zone defense they are most likely to face tomorrow night.
"We have a new offense that will feed into it, so we'll have a lot of movement to get into the middle and create some opportunities for us to score." (Brody Anglee, Toro's Point Guard)
"We are definitely looking forward to getting after these guys. They are the top team right now, 5-0, so we definitely have a lot to prove on Friday night." (Rene Rougeau, Toro's Shooting Guard)
This game is scheduled to tip-off at 7:30 tomorrow night at the LEA.
