Lorenza Cigarroa is the March Border Patrol-KGNS Youth of the Month

Her last name is synonymous with the medical community in Laredo.
So perhaps it's no surprise that one San Augustine high school senior wants to be a doctor some day.
Today the spotlight was on Lorenza Cigarroa.
She’s the U.S. Border Patrol, KGNS- TV Youth of the Month,
Her fellow students joined her family in congratulating her.
She says she owes her success to the support of her loved ones.
Lorenza excels in all subjects but is drawn to math and science.
When she graduates she plans to attend Cornell University and get her degree in medicine.
